Here is a full record of the Summer Term, 1953 (Seniors), from the booklet I have - may be of interest:....That
was the term that I won the Senior Challenge Cup (victor ludorum) on Sports Day, Saturday 27th June (I still have
the programme) - I remember it well as I won all the events bar one and, when I only came 2nd in the 220 Yards Final
(John Radcliffe won) K.N.G.Foster remarked, with a twinkle in his eyes: "..decent of you to let someone else win
something, Clement!".......

I just got out the old family accounts from the period I attended WH; my father kept everything, and what he paid for my education
at WH may be of interest. I wish I were paying bills like that today, but I bet my father swore at them at the time!
